Florida DUI Criminal Defense and Personal Injury Attorney Mike Quimby is a 9-year military veteran who was born in Michigan and raised in Florida.

While on active duty, Mike served during the Bosnian conflict, the 1991 Gulf War and various other world operations. He received numerous commendations including the Navy Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medals, and numerous unit citations and awards.

Mike received his undergraduate degree from St. Leo's College and his law degree from Cooley Law School in Michigan. Mike is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts, Federal Court and all Michigan State Courts.

With regard to Mike's Criminal Defense work, he has a long history of involvement in the area of criminal law dating back to counter-narcotics operations in the Southern Caribbean while assigned to the Joint Drug Task Force out of Miami, Florida where he helped in the interception of drug traffickers, and, ultimately, in their prosecution. Now, Mike is dedicated to defending those accused of possession, sale, cultivation and trafficking in illegal drugs and controlled substances, as well as other serious offenses.

As a DUI defense attorney, Mike is also a member of the National College of DUI Defense, a select organization with just a few hundred members across the nation. Only a handful of active member attorneys in the State of Florida share this prestigious honor.

Mike is also a graduate of the Breath Test Operator Course, the same course that breath test operators in Florida are required to take for certification. He is also a qualified instructor of Field Sobriety Exercises, having completed extensive coursework and demonstrating 100% proficiency in administering and evaluating roadside tests. Mike knows DUI defense and he has the training, experience and expertise to back it up!

Mike is a firm believer in protecting all of our DUI and Criminal clients' Constitutional rights, whether it is the right to freedom from unlawful traffic stops, illegal detentions, illegal search and seizure or other protections such as the right to a fair and impartial jury of the clients' peers, when necessary.

As for Auto Accidents and Personal Injury, Mike works hand-in-hand with founding member Ron Sholes in representing victims of auto accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice and other injury claims. Mike is a fighter when it comes to representing our injury victims, oftentimes obtaining settlements beyond the client's and the firm's exprectations.
